Busy Badgers but there's a dark cloud on the horizon


The local badgers were very willing models this weekend providing several nice images. I'm really glad I've started documenting their presence because there are worrying signs that development in the area is going to encroach dangerously close to their sett. I've attempted to open a dialogue with the developer to make them aware of the badgers' presence and their legally protected status. The immediate threat is plans to vuild a cycle route right next to the sett (< 10m) which will bring people in to close proximity to the sett on a regular basis. Hopefully, a way can be found to minimise disturbance and protect the sett in the future. I fear this could be a long one-sided fight.
