Must admit I'd rather hoped to be photographing some mammals this weekend, but the weather was pants, especially for standing around on river banks. Instead I took refuge in the kitchen window at work where I have many bird feeders situated but also from where I'd seen spectacular views of foxes and muntjac deer the day previously.
I had no luck with the foxes or deer but instead captured some lovely images of the birds including my favourite, the Bullfinch, as well as the beautiful little Long Tailed Tit. Despite the heavily overcast conditions and continuous rain I was surprised how impressive the colours were.
