Quite thrilling to see two badgers make another appearance at my fox site. One looked relatively young, with a fresh face and tufty ears, the other looks a bit more life weary with a pink tip to its nose.
As anyone who's watched badgers knows, they spend most of the time with their noses on the ground. I was lucky to catch them peering around and over the vegetation. As I saw on my previous visit, the badgers and foxes maintained an appropriate social distance and were quite content. Such a privilege to see these animals in daylight.
